solid mechanics -to find the displacement at a constant distance from edge

Hi,

is there any function that can give me the displacement v at a constant distance from an edge?

in my model I am using solid mechanics my edge is lying on the xz plane and I want to calculate the displacement v at a constant distance from that edge on the same plane, and I am wondering if there is a function in comsol that can do that instead of using matlab.
