Dispersion

Hi,
Hope all of you are well. Who have experienced with Photonic Crystal Fiber please response.
We know the well-known equation for determination of dispersion from real part of effective refractive index is stated below:
D(λ)= -λ/c (d2Re[neff]/ dλ2)
My question is (For Hexagonal PCF [Silica]), if I want to determine the dispersion value from 1500 nm to 1600nm. How much should be the difference in Refractive index in nm for each simulation of Effective Refractive index in Comsol.
For example:
A) I have to simulate in 10 nm difference like as 1500 nm, 1510 nm, 1520 nm ………………… ……………………1600nm, 1610nm, 1620nm. (As two times differentiate so 2 values extra)

Or
B) I have to simulate in 1 nm difference like as 1500 nm, 1501 nm, 1502 nm, 1503nm ………………… … …………………1599nm, 1600nm, 1601nm, 1602nm.

Hope, you understand my question. Just simply let me know the proper or effective way for determining the dispersion value A) or B)??

Best Regards
Anish
