Geometry and domain conditions change during parametric sweep

I have a high voltage terminal domain and I'm trying to perform a parametric sweep for its positional parameters to calculate the electric field distribution on my insulator model. I've defined parameters and everything, I can successfully perform a parametric sweep but the results are very different from expected because the terminal domain resets itself to 0 voltage, its material changes from aluminium to air during the sweep and everything gets screwed up. What could be causing this?

For some reason adding a unit expression to the parametric sweep menu ruins it although everything is in cm in my model. I removed the unit expression and it works now. It's probably a bug with 5.3.
