I want to simulate a harmonic wave propagating along the beam, and also my device has a shallow slot across the beam, what I want to see is how the wave is refracted and reflected at that slot. I tried elastic wave module but only figure out how to simulate a perfect beam in frequency domain and find out eigenfrequency and mode profile. But I haven't figure out how to do a simulation with a slot on it and in time domain. Please help, thanks!
