How to Model PCBs in COMSOL Multiphysics®
Länge: 40:55
Printed circuit boards (PCBs) are used in a variety of devices and areas, including 5G, internet of things (IoT), radar, and RFID systems. To reduce development cost and time, design engineers can use simulation to analyze the performance of their PCB designs before generating physical prototypes.
In this archived webinar, you will learn how to model the electromagnetic performance of PCBs in COMSOL Multiphysics® for different frequency regimes. We demonstrate how to model the mutual inductance of PCB coils in the kHz range and a Wilkinson power divider in the GHz range. Both demos highlight the new functionality available as of COMSOL® software version 6.0.
