how to transform a frequency domain model to a time domain model?

Hi, I have a simple question (Comsol 3.5a). For example, I build a waveguide in 2d harmonic TM modes. Then solve it for different frequencies and saw some wave proportions patterns. Now I want to turn to the transient mode, and solve the problem in the time domain for one specific frequency and observe the wave propagation in real time. What should I do for the input wave source, as it seems no port boundary condition in the 2d transient TM mode. How do I write the expression and also what should I do if I just want to send in a Gaussian wave packet?

Many thansk in advance
