Hey,
sorry for not providing answers but popping out more questions... I was trying to simulate the inductive heating of a solenoid use comsol and I'm not sure whether this software is able to solve the skin effect by itself. With higher frequency AC, I'm expecting seeing current/heating just on the surface of the conductor, but the entire metal piece was heated up. I'm not sure if this is related to the mesh size or something else. Could you please provide some suggestions? Thanks!
