I am trying to design a nutrient sensor. What physics to be chosen for designing an electrochemical sensor. i have two electrodes anode and cathode with an electrolyte. I want to measure the current that is flowing through the electrodes.

In the electrochemistry module you have options secondary and tertiary current distribution. The latter takes into account also concentration polarization. Try them.
If you do nont have access to electrochemistry module, use Transport of Diluted Species. It takes a little bit more effort, because you have to define the flux boundary conditions at the electrodes in an appropriate manner.
