Can I prescribe a periodic boundary condition with a frequency sweep to displace the model according to my values?
Additionally, the end goal is to use the angular displacement data to "excite" an existing model that was created and meshed in a different program and saved as a .NAS file. Unfortunately, there have been some issues in using this model and I have been searching for a solution. Since I have your attention, I suppose I could address you with this second issue.
When import the mesh into COMSOL the model appears to be missing some features. I spoke with the person who created the mesh and he said that there are some spring elements that couple two interfaces of the model together, it appears that these are the elements that are missing. Does COMSOL recognize spring elements?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have run out of ideas.
