Projection coupling in Comsol 4

Yet with another how-to-use on Comsol 4.

Similiar to Comsol 3 I tried to use a projection coupling variable to project a "u" from boundary A to "u" on boundary B.

Model: www.gliffy.com/pubdoc/2140940/L.png

Here I want to project "u" from the inner circle to the outer one, so I can use "u" on the outer boundary. In Comsol3 all I needed to do was to add 3 red vertices as source and 3 blue ones as destination. But, in Comsol 4 it doesn't work that way. It always says illegal vertices. Help file is not enough at all to solve it on my own.

Oops! It should have been extrusion variable, and yes, that was the source of confusion :) problem solved.

I'm having the same issue with the error "illegal vertex selection". Would you be able to explain what you did in a little more detail to get around this issue?

Thanks,

Leanne
