COMSOL messes up when a reaction follows a complex rate law

I'm simulating some reactions occurring when there is a flow through a reactor. I'm trying to use a rate law from the literature, which is a little convoluted. It goes a little like this.
Rate = k * cA^0.95*cB^0.24*cC^-0.2
I've been experimenting with different rate laws. Those with powers close to a whole number (1 or 2) achieved speedy convergence, whereas decimal values (especially those on the low end e.g. 0.24), and negative powers, oscillated back and forth, with no end in sight. One screenshot is enclosed.
Can anybody advise on how I can manipulate the rate law in some way to make it easier for COMSOL to digest? Or alter the solver configuration, or just sit back, wait, and pray for it to converge after 20 hours?
