Capacitance calculation

I'm quite new to COMSOL. I'm planning to use COMSOL to calculate capacitance of certain design. I have two questions:
1. I would like to know how we can import the design from autocad. The design in AutoCAD is 2-D format. Is it possible to make 3D in COMSOL?
2. Can we build the substrate (for example Silicon wafer) first in COMSOL and import the design on top of the substrate? If we can, your guidance is valuable to me.
