Electric currents resolve at every timestep

I am trying to model a mesh that deforms (ALE) in proportion to the normal current density (ex. electroplating application). The issue I'm encountering is that I am not able to force the electric currents module to resolve the electric field at every time step. Instead, the electric field and resulting current density is calculated once at the beginning of the solver and that solution is used to deform the mesh over time interval specified. This is resulting in errors for the larger deformations I am trying to model.
Is anyone aware of a way to recalculated the electric field at every time step based on the new geometry of the deformed mesh?
Thanks
