Heat Flux boundary condition using PDE

I'm trying to apply a heat flux boundary condition in the energy equation, but I'm not understanding the meaning of the flux/source boundary condition.
According to the software: Flux/Source BC is:
-n. Gamma= g-qT
In my case, I have to apply a heat flux until a specific time ts and after that, the heat flux must be 0.
-kdT/dx=heat flux for 0<t<ts
-kdT/dx=0 for t>ts.
So, I used a piecewise function, where
0<t<ts => g=(Q0/ts)*t where Q0 is my heat flux = 41000 [W/m^2] which corresponds to -kdT/dx=(Q0/ts)*t
t>ts => g=0
But the result doesn't make sense. I'm getting temperatures over 9000 ºC
Am I missing something?
