Coefficient Form PDE for Pennes' Bioheat tranfer

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello. I'm relatively new to COMSOL and have been trying to create a model of the skin. I am not trying to apply Pennes' bioheat transfer equation to each layer (Epidermis, Dermis, and Fat), but this is where I get lost. I try using the Coefficient Form PDE, but my equation does not resemble the original.

ρC ∂T/∂t=k∇^2 T+ρ_b C_b w_b (T_b-T)

Any help would be appreciated. I also ask for any advice can be giving on coupling these equations so that they work as one system. Thank you.
