Coupling an electric circuit to the Tertiary Current Distribution physics

I'm trying to study the discharge characteristics of an electrochemical cell that incorporates the 'Tertiary Current Distribution, Nernst-Planck' (tcdee) physics. I was wondering how I can couple a resistor via the Electrical Circuits module to the tcdee electrodes. Contrary to AC/DC physics, there are no 'Terminal' nodes available in tcdee.
Thank you,
Ramin
