Thermal expansion

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello!

I'm trying to simulate the thermal expansion of a solid silicon block, which is cooled down from 293.15K to 80K. Heatflux or something like that is not important, I'm just interested in the deformation of the material. For the expansion coefficient I want to use a temperature dependent function, given as a table.

But the comsol-result does not match with the theory. I attached the simulation file, hoping that someone can point out my mistake.

Thanks a lot!
