problem with modeling grating

I am working on a waveguide with grating of the period of 330 nm & length of 630 um and the width of the waveguide is 500 nm, and what I apply source at port 1, and get reflection spectrum at port2 and transmissin at port 3. Ihave some problems:
First : 630um is much larger than width of the waveguide (500nm) so how can I model the waveguide? on the model " plasmonic wire grating " just a small part of th waveguide is drawn in the GUI , should I do the same?
Second : To impose the source ,comsol has an incident wave as " exp(-j*k0_rfwe*y) " ,is it enough to have source at port 1 ?
Third : how about boundary conditions, " continuty " at the inner boundaries and " perfect electric conductor" at outer ones are correct?
