Hello there,

I am trying to see the deflection in a beam that has 2 segments of different materials joined at one end and the whole beam fixed at other. At the base there is a permanent magnet that induces magnetic field in both the constituent beam segments. I am trying to apply an external magnetic field and see its deflection but it comes out very weird. I tried remeshing technique too but no luck.

Hello Sahibzada Shahroze,

Can you please upload 1/ a sketch of what you want to do, and 2/ your mph file? By comparing the two, users of this Discussion Forum may be able to find where your model differs from your intentions.

Best,

Jeff

PS: Maybe also include a sketch of what you are expecting the results to look like so we can better understand what you mean when you say that "it comes out very weird".
