Solving the dispersion curve using the Mode Analysis study

Hi I am trying to analys the dispersion curve of guided wave in the plate, but I encountered a problem using the Mode Analysis study based on SAFE. How to design the section of the wave propagation? The thickness of the plate is much less than the width. Should I using the PBC and choosing floquet condition, and how to set the k of floquet condition? Thank a lot
