How to understand the weak form of wave equation in electromagnetic frequency domain?

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

in comsol, the weak form of wave equation is written as: -mu0_const*(-ewfd.dHdtx*ewfd.curltestdepEx-ewfd.dHdty*ewfd.curltestdepEy-ewfd.dHdtz*ewfd.curltestdepEz+ewfd.iomega(ewfd.Jx*ewfd.testdepEx+ewfd.Jy*ewfd.testdepEy+ewfd.Jz*ewfd.testdepEz))

Does it uses Garlkin method to rewrite the FEMform of Maxwell equation, or other methods?can you introduce me some papers about that? I would appreciate your assistance with this matter!
