for an optimisation case you can look at my drop-in on the model exchange, I do the contrary, get the Zernike polynomials from the deformed shape of a plate/mirror.
The issue for me, in your case, is to get numerical values in a x-y meshed interpoaltion from the image, but looking at the nice symmetry, you can probably also guess which mode it is and define a function rather close to that shape and use that as displacement increment. Then optimise oyur voltage to get the corresponding displacement.
You should even be able to do that without the optimisation module, but its easier with ;)

thanks a lot, I will go through the model. I have to admit, I am quite new in this adaptive optics topic so it will take some time :(
If you or somebody have some small tutorial, how to easily catch the optimalization there, would be nice...but I will try to bite it through ;)
If there is somebody who simulates adaptive mirrors and such, is it possible to share some experience?

I'm no AO specialist, I only have made a few items for AO instruments, and do my best to maintain them ;)
But Zernike are a generl way to analyse deformations of optical components, among other mirrors that are supported by different means, and as we do "moving optics" systems to control precisely the motion of optics within a system analysis of the induced defromations is important.
Try a search on ESO and AO, or just "adaptive optics" and "astronomy", there are tousands of pages out there and several intro tutorials. As well as a few books from the library or from SPI,E for example
