Sellmeier dispersion model in Electromagnetic waves, transient interface

Is it possible to use the Sellmeier dispersion model to specfiy the refractive index of materials in the electromagnetic waves, transient interface?
I am trying to model the propagation of an ultrashort pulse (femtoseconds) through a Schott glass whose refractive index is defined by a set of Sellmeier coefficents.
Is there a way to achieve this? Any suggestions?
Thanks
