Band Structure of SAW Phononic crystal

Hi,
1) I would like to reproduce the results from the paper https://journals.aps.org/prapplied/abstract/10.1103/PhysRevApplied.10.064019 regarding the simulation of Surface Acoustic wave band gap of a phononic crystals. I would like to know is there any general way to span over arbitrary brillouin zone to obtain the desired band structure i.e, how to plot for the BZ shown in the paper? I have knowledge for square lattice but how to extend it further for triangualar lattice and desired brillouin zone
2) Also how to plot the radiation modes in band spectrum and the transmission spectrum?
