Avoiding droplet coalescene in two phase flow

I have been working on droplet generation using flow focusing junction using two-phase flow, phase field. Is there a way to avoid the droplets from coalesceing after generation?

Droplets coalescence maybe resulting from the geometry of droplet generator Specifically, if you have as the outlet with sections of varying hydraudic diameters. In this case, the mean flow velocities tend to vary for the same inlet flow rate as droplets move along the sections, leading to merging or coalescence of droplets. This is a possible cause.
