I suspect its your .r^2 .r I assume you mean *r^2 and *r, no ?

yes Ivar its *r. Moreover I should use d(Ez,r) for differentiation. i have changed this but i get zero answer. probably its not understanding radial derivative. whats the way to implement that.

Hi

you need to write out the cylindrical coordinate differential from the x and y derivatives. By the way normally you have alread Exx and Exy ... defined

you can define a cylindrical coordinate system to express your sys2.r

Unfortunately COMSOL does not understand d(Ex,sys2.r)

You could also then consider using a higher discretization order to try to get smoother results
