I ran Comsol 5.5 on Apple Mac M1 with Rosetta 2 and it ran without any issues. I ran several programs all of which ran flawlessly. I have not performed any detailed speed compairsons yet.

Starting with version 6.0, most COMSOL software supports MacOS 11 and 12 on M1-processor Macs. Some of the CAD capabilities require Rosetta 2 or are unavailable for MacOS. See https://www.comsol.com/system-requirements and https://www.comsol.com/system-requirements/60/module for all the details.
Best,
Jeff
