visualising motion in 2d spf

Hello everyone!
I have solved flow around oscillating cylinder in 2D laminar , transient flow and have pressure & velocity at each time and each point. How can I find whether cylinder will move horizontally or not. The horizontal velocity of the cylinder keeps changing with respect to time like a curve in the attached figure.

How can I conclude there is net motion due to this induced horizontal velocity? or is this a chaotic type of motion?

Please some one advice me.
