I am modelling steady-state fluid flow inside a horizontal rock fracture which is inside a cubical rock block. The fluid will flow inside the fracture from one side and outside from the three remaining sides.
I created two 3D meshes representig the fracture walls with CloudCompare from the 3D image of the rock block. The problem is how to create solid between the two surfaces in which the fluid flow occurs? The aim is to calculate the amount of fluid flow.
I attached an image to illustrate the fracture and the fracture walls. There are different amount of faces and points in the two meshes representig the fracture walls.
Thanks for answers, Ville
