Hello,

I am simulating an optoelectronic device by having a laser exciting a semiconductor substrate. Can someone explains what the Initial value node does? If I have an steady state and a transient study, are these intitial values to the steady state or the transient study? Also, what should be the values of n,p,V that I should input if I select user defined? Should it be the voltage that I am applying through the electrodes and the dopping concentration?
