How to simulate optical pulse induced heating in optical waveguide.

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,friend. I want to simulate the heat distribution when an optical pulse is sent to a waveguide. If the heat transfer solid with Electromagnetic Waves, Time Explicit(teew) or Electromagnetic Waves, Transient(ewt) can do it? I tried to use Electromagnetic Heating, but it failed, because I can't define the input power as a function of time in the frequency domain. I extremely eager to solve this problem. Can anyone help me? Thank you very much.
