Implement Viscoelastic Maxwell Material?

I am trying to model a Maxwell material (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maxwell_material): a purely viscous damper and a purely elastic spring connected in series. I do see the viscoelasticity under solid mechanics; but then find in the document that the provided Maxwell model is actually a Maxwell representation of the Standard Linear Solid model (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standard_linear_solid_model). In contrast, I do not want the paralelling spring with a long-term stiffness.
Have anyone succeeded in implementing a Maxwell body? Or is there any suggestion on how to circumvent this problem?
Thanks a lot for your attention!
