How to assign a characteristic impedance to a material at a given frequency?

Hi,

I'm doing a foam related acoustic simulation, where the foam was characterized using the poroacoustic module. And depending on the model used, some parameters of the foam needed to be provided (e.g., flow resistivity).

My question is, is there a way to circumvent this modelling process and provide the impedance and the wavenumber of the foam to the software directly? I have some foams at hand with these parameters known but those necessary for the model unkown. And I hope I can validate them in my model.

Thanks in advance!

Best Regards, ZZ
