Self-consistent Schrödinger-Poisson

I have to solve 1D Schrödinger-Poisson problem self-consistently. Therefore I have to find a solution of eigenvalue (Schrödinger equation) and stationary problem (Poisson equation) simultaneously.
Unfortunately, on each step of study, a study type should be chosen (staionary, eigenvalue, etc).
So, as I understand, I can solve eigenvalue problem, and after that solve stationary problem. But it would not be a self-consistent calculation.
Are there some hints to avoid this difficulties using GUI or matlab interface?
Thanks in advance,
Ilya
