combination of 2d and 2d axisymmetric models

I want to build a model that's symmetric under translation in y-direction (i.e. a plane cut parallel to the xz-plane looks the same for every y-value), despite a single indenter, which is symmetric under rotations.
In 3d it's almost impossible to simulate the problem, because the calculations take to much time and it's hard to control the mesh, which is necessary to control the indentation of the indenter into the material.
Is there a way to combine a 2d geometry with a 2d axisymmetric geometry?
I've attached you the 3d geometry of my problem, so you know how the model looks like.
Thank you very much and best wishes from Germany!
Jochen
