Bullet in a barrel

Hi everybody, I' m trying to realize a simple model of a bullet in a barrel. I set an impulsive pressure at the inlet of the barrel (to simulate the explosion), but the pressure immediately go to 0, almost without reaching the bullet. It seems that there is a loss somewhere. Or maybe it is not correct to set an impulse at the inlet, because after the high peak I force the pressure to 0? Can anybody help me? Thank you in advance.
