Floating potential vs terminal

I made coupling model of electrostatic , moving mesh and electrical circuit.

An object having charge moves, and thereby electric potential varies around the object. And I wnat to read electric voltage and current from the fixed electrode placed at certain position.

So we need boundary condition (terminal or floating potential) for electrode, and it is coupled to electric circuit physics.

Which boundary condition would be right between terminal and floating potential? and what is difference of them?
