Interpolation Doubt

New to comsol I'm modelling temperature inside a solid cylinder, I've a data file containing the X,Y,Z,temperature values in a text file. My question is:
If I import the data for the values inside the cylinder, what happens to the points outside the domain? Does COMSOL interpolates the value outside domain? Because the inerpolation plot shows some values ouside my domain.
