Hi,
I'm having trouble setting up a simulation where I have a III-V semiconductor membrane bonded to a piezoelectric material which is subjected to an electric field. I have the structural mechanics and electrostatics setup so that I can calculate the strain in the pizoelectric material, however I am not able to see how much strain in transferred to the semiconductor membrane. I have tried contact boundary conditions, and performing a union operation between the two geometries but neither show any strain induced in the semiconductor while there is an obvious strainin the piezo below it.
Thanks
