Absolute vs Relative Tolerance

Hello there,

I'm curious what the difference between absolute and relative tolerance is. Particularly when you are setting the absolute tolerance to a factor of the relative tolerance, it seems that the absolute tolerance is redundant.

I'm sure I'm misunderstanding something.
