Has anyone used COMSOL to do premixed combustion for turbulent flow? The reaction I am looking at gives me the Arrhenius forward rate equations and uses an equilibrium condition for the backwards rate equations. To substitute that into COMSOL I am looking at subtracting the Gibbs free energy per reaction from the Ea term for the backwards reaction rate. I am using the transport of concentrated species for the modeling of the reaction. I am looking to see if their is an easier or better way to solve for this than programming in the Gibbs free energy for all the reactions I need.
