Hi,
I have a sandwich model of copper->solder->copper. I need to keep the model in a ambient of -40C for 15 min dwell time and next it has to be in +125C for 15 min dwell time. like this I need to run the sandwich model for 500 cycles, 1000 cycles etc...

Which module should I use for this kind of problem?

Sanjay

Hi

I would start to look at TS (thermal Stress" from the structural section (V4)

But I would also ask myself what is likely to be different from 1 to 1000 cycles ? Which physics should I use or complement to get any difference between 1 or N cycles, hysteresis, which creep theory / equations etc

Good luck
