COMSOL solve by parts

Hi,

I'm building a model that need really fine mesh. I virtual partitioned the model into several pieces and wish to let COMSOL solve it piece by piece. Is there any functionality in COMSOL that can do this?

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Here might be a good place to start (see links). This is a new solver technique that takes advantage of geometry partitioning on the solver level. I don't believe you can manually specify the pieces yet.
