Comsol variable questions

I have been using comsol for simulating a solenoid with a plunger with non-linear material. Now i would like to plot some position derivatives of variables, like d(mf.ICoil_Coil,p), where p is defined in a Global ODE. For some reason evaluates to 0 for all time. d(mf.ICoil_Coil,t) (time derivative) evaluates correctly however. What am i doing wrong? I can plot mf.ICoil_Coil as a function of p in results, so why cant i derivate it?
