Defining a variable with limits

Hi everyone,

I am working on metal hydride systems and one of my equation is as follows:

Peq= exp{(S/R)-(H/(R*T))+(phi + phi0)*tan(pi*(c/cf-0.5)) +beta/2 }

My problem is the tan(pi*(c/cf-0.5) part. It becomes negative infinity as c approaches c/cf approaches 0 and positive infinity as c/cf approaches 1.

Now it can be solved if I apply L'hospitals rule and tweak the equation a bit but I am not able to implement it in COMSOL. How do you apply limits in comsol?
