Heat Flux Discontinuity at Geometric Partition

Hi All,
I have a heated channel with fluid flowing through it which I partitioned using work planes in several different locations for meshing and other purposes. When the model solves, it has discontinuities in the heat flux at these partitions. It's not a big deal for my model, but it really should be continuous. Is there a way to force this to be the case?
