Hi there,
I am doing a project on the above machine. I came across a paper saying that 'narrow airgap between stator and rotor poles results in a large gradient of the number of elements, when moving away from the airgap'.
I am wondering how can i make a dual ring in the air gap where one ring is modelled as fixed air and the other as rotating airgap? Is it possible to do so in COMSOL?
At the moment I just define the air gap as 1 subdomain.
Thank you in advance for any advices or feedbacks.
Cheers
