Line Heat Source

Hi everyone,

How can I define a line source of constant power per unit length in Heat Transfer in Solid module?

Just draw the line in your geometry and assign a "Line Heat Source" node to it with the desired power per unit length. Toy example model attached.
Beware that line sources cause singularities, so the temperature distribution will be mesh dependent, see www.comsol.com/blogs/how-identify-resolve-singularities-model-meshing/ .
