set the initial conditon of COMSOL as a vector with Matlab

Hi,
I have a problem about this function:
model.physics('chds').feature('init1').set('c',1,c_av)
(it is from the example "Homogenization in a chemical reactor")
if c_av is not a scalor but a vector, how can i apply it to COMSOL as an initial condition?
