Particle Tracing with Cells

My lab is trying to model cells flowing through a lab on a chip in media. Is there anywhere I can find a basic tutorial on how to use the particle tracing module to do this? Additionally, is there anyone who has any experience modeling cells as particles? Or is there some type of material particles that might best work for this?
